Saint-Gobain Construction Products is committed to educating its employees to allow them to fulfil their full potential in the workplace. Various education initiatives allow a diverse range of programmes off a common base, giving employees the opportunity to increase their skills set in order to achieve promotion. On-site training programmes are conducted by professional and experienced facilitators.
The company’s approach to learning is primarily based on equipping its employees with a complete understanding of the products and operations of the Saint-Gobain Group, and all company-oriented training takes place during working hours, in staggered shifts to ensure the uninterrupted flow of business.
Programmes are experiential, and learnerships/apprenticeships offer a balance of theory and practical sessions. Each programme gives full insight into its particular topic, and into its context within the wider organisation.
